Periodic Inspection of Aerial Work Platforms

I performed periodic inspections and safety checks of aerial work platforms (AWPs) in accordance with TS EN 280 and the Regulation on Health and Safety Requirements for the Use of Work Equipment.

Scope of Inspection:

• Visual inspection for structural damage, cracks, and wear

• Functional testing of lifting, lowering, and steering systems

• Checking of emergency lowering system and control panels

• Inspection of guardrails, platform entry gates, and stability supports

• Verification of limit switches, tilt sensors, and overload protection

• Preparing inspection reports and documenting non-conformities

Types of platforms inspected:

• Scissor lifts

• Articulating boom lifts

• Telescopic boom lifts

• Trailer-mounted lifts

All inspections were conducted by certified personnel using calibrated measuring and testing devices.
